Most localisation failures are typographic, not linguistic. A Tamil conjunct that does not form, a Devanagari matra sitting on the wrong side of its consonant, an Arabic line that breaks mid-word — these get past anyone who cannot read the language.
Our studio works in Tamil and English daily and composes in a dozen more scripts, with proofreading by native readers at every stage. Translation, adaptation, layout and eBook conversion happen in the same place, so the reflowed page is checked by the same eyes that checked the text.
