LaTeX Typesetter
Set mathematics-heavy titles in LaTeX, build and maintain class files, and carry equations through to MathML for XML and ePub delivery.
XML Analyst — JATS / BITS
Tag journal articles and book chapters to JATS and BITS, write and run validation checks, and prepare deposit-ready packages for publishers and repositories.
Copyeditor / Proofreader
Edit academic and educational content to Chicago, APA, AMA or house style. Strong reference-checking discipline and the ability to raise a query an author can answer in one line.
Graphic Designer — Publishing Artwork
Redraw author figures as print-standard vectors in Illustrator, rebuild tables, and work on covers and chapter openers alongside the composition team.
Business Development Executive — International
Open conversations with publishers in the UK, Europe and North America, manage the sample-to-contract pipeline, and hold relationships once a list is running. Confident written English is essential.
