Accessibility stopped being optional. Under the European Accessibility Act, eBooks sold into the EU have to be usable by readers with disabilities, and retailers are enforcing it through their ingestion checks.
We build accessibility in at conversion rather than patching it afterwards: a logical reading order, real headings, alt text written by a human who read the figure, MathML that a screen reader can speak, and the accessibility metadata that tells a retailer what the file can do.
